What we collect when you enquire or order, and what happens to it.
The enquiry form asks for your name, an email address, a WhatsApp number with its country code, a postcode, the date and occasion of your celebration, the favours you are interested in and anything else you choose to tell us.
All of it is kept as you sent it, alongside a working record we update as we learn more about your order.
To reply to you, to price a quotation, and to make and deliver an order you go on to place. We never sell it to anyone.
If you tick the box on the enquiry form, we will also email you occasionally about new candles and offers. That is the only thing the box does, it is off unless you turn it on, and every one of those emails carries a link that stops them. Nothing else we send depends on it, so leaving it alone costs you nothing.
In a Postgres database hosted by Neon, with the site itself hosted by Vercel. Both hold data on our behalf under their own terms.
Still to confirmWhether any other service will handle customer data once email and card payment are wired, and naming each one here when they are.
An enquiry that never becomes an order is kept for two years from the last time we heard from you, and then deleted. Celebrations are planned a long way ahead, which is why it is two years rather than one.
Where you go on to place an order, we keep its records for six years, because that is how long tax records have to be held and how long a claim about a contract can be brought.
If you have asked to hear from us by email, we keep your address until you stop those emails.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will answer.
Still to confirmThe address a request should go to, and whether Anara needs to register with the Information Commissioner.
